This is a highly visible, institution-wide leadership role responsible for shaping strategy, strengthening student advocacy, and advancing belonging and student success initiatives across the university. This leader will oversee a comprehensive portfolio of student-facing centers and services while championing policies and practices that enhance retention, persistence, engagement, and well-being.

Provides holistic, personalized support to undergraduate students in developing, progressing, and achieving their goals. Responsibilities include working with a designated group of undergraduate students and campus referrals to facilitate resources to support them with academic concerns, course difficulties, academic self-efficacy, financial and time management, and overall program progression.

This role will lead the delivery and refinement of the Summer STEP summer melt coaching program, lead Postsecondary Student Advisory Fellowship by strengthening recruitment pipelines, advance an intergenerational engagement strategy for multigenerational engagement and community outreach, and
collaborate closely with the TalentEd community engagement team and Chamber's communication team to develop social media strategies.

The Project Advisor position is a federally-funded TRIO program providing opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.

The Manager, Advocacy & Government Relations, is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and advocating for legislation and policy proposals relevant to UWSEM's mission, with a focus on education and out-of-school time.

The educator in this position will provide support and education to students enrolled at the Great Lakes Bay Early College and within the Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center. The educator in this position will support students’ need for social emotional support, for registration into programming, with transition into and out of the center, and with guidance to maintain a positive learning progressions toward graduation and program completion. The person in this position must be collaborative and focused on student success. Support for this position include, but are not limited to, Saginaw ISD Career and Technical Education, Instructional Services and Special Education offices, local educational agencies, Delta College staff, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services staff, and Center staff.

Serve as a cross-functional admissions recruiter supporting both traditional on-campus undergraduate and Global Campus enrollment initiatives, with a strategic emphasis on transfer, adult, and online learners. Operate collaboratively between Undergraduate Admissions and Global Campus to develop integrated recruitment strategies, support enrollment growth across modalities, and ensure a seamless student experience from inquiry through enrollment.

Your core responsibilities will focus on implementing targeted recruitment strategies and working directly with prospective transfer students-both one-on-one and in group settings-to guide them through exploring, applying to, and enrolling at U-M. You will focus on expanding access for students from historically underrepresented or non-traditional backgrounds, including low-income students, first generation college students, military veterans, community college students, student-parents, and students with a variety of other identities.

Provide leadership and direct support for academic success initiatives within the Office of Student Success Initiatives (SSI), with a primary emphasis on advancing the persistence, academic success, and degree completion of first-generation students. Through proactive, individualized, and coordinated support, the Administrator will help students navigate academic and transitional challenges, connect with university resources, and develop strategies for success.
